Clayton, NY & 1000 Islands

Join us for a beautiful fall trip to the 1000 Islands With our usual stops today we arrive in Montpelier, OH late afternoon. Dinner is included this evening.

Breakfast included. Board the coach this morning for a lovely drive. We will arrive in Clayton, NY by late afternoon, where we will be staying for three nights.

Breakfast included this morning. We leave this morning to start this wonderful tour the 1000 Islands. We will visit the Antique Boat Museum, which is filled with history and beautiful fresh water boats - the largest collection in the US. We will then take a narrated Island Boat Tour on Clayton Island Tours. A stop at Rock Island Light- house located on Rock Island includes a climb to the top of the Lighthouse Tower for a breathtaking view of the St Lawrence River. Lunch included at the Coyote Moon Vineyard, while enjoying the “excitement, romance, and award winning wines”, along with hayrides, Vineyard tours, tastings and music. We will end the day in Clayton, NY - a quintessential river village, which has shopping, museums and great restaurants to enjoy on your own. Dinner and evening on your own.

 Breakfast included. This morning we will visit the Tibbett’s Point Lighthouse in Cape Vincent where the St Lawrence River meets Lake Ontario. Next we will board the Uncle Sam Boat Tour for a two-nation scenic boat tour. We will stopover at the famous Historical Boldt Castle and Yacht House for a self guided or guided tour. Lunch included at the Castle. We will shuttle back to Alexandria Bay where you can enjoy some shopping. Dinner will be included at Cavallerio’s Steak House.
