Fall Weekend - Dubuque, IA

Today, we will enjoy a beautiful Fall drive down to Dubuque, IA. We will check into the hotel this afternoon, where we will be staying for three nights. After we check in, we will take a ride on the shortest and steepest funicular in the world - Fenelon Place Elevator. Dinner is included this evening.

After breakfast (included in tour), we will have a city tour of Dubuque with some time for shopping. We will then board the American Lady for our lunch cruise on the Mississippi River. After our cruise, we will tour the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium. We will then tour the Berning Acres - large family owned dairy farm. We will end the day with dinner at Timmerman’s Supper Club, which overlooks the Mississippi River (included in tour).

After breakfast (included in tour), we will visit the Dubuque Arboretum & Botanical Gardens. We will then hear the history of the award wining, Betty Jane Candies. A sample pack of their famous chocolates is included. Lunch is included at Iowa’s oldest restaurant - Breitbach’s Country Dining. Once we arrive in Dyersville, we will stop at the National Farm Toy Museum and the Plaza Antique Mall. We will visit the ‘If You Build It’ exhibit, before arriving at the Field of Dreams movie site. Here you can walk the grounds and visit with a ghost player. Dinner is included here.

After breakfast (included in tour), we will be traveling back home after enjoying this beautiful Fall weekend in Dubuque.
